DETAILS OF THE PROGRAMS.
Following is a list of planned programs from November 11, 2018 –
Maria Winkler presents her trip on a Safari though Kenya and Tanzania
Kenya and Tanzania are prime destinations to experience the unique “Great Migration” of millions of hoofed animals through breathtaking landscapes. Every year large herds of wildebeest, zebras, antelopes and other wild animals move along the thousands of miles along the Great Rift Valley in search for green pastures. They are closely followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and others. We were fortunate to observe and photographically capture this spectacular event and the drama of nature. You will hear about the Great Migration, see many of the magnificent animals on the move, “experience a kill” close-up and encounter exquisite landscapes and diverse local cultures.
